Objective

Antenna and Electromagnetic-Wave Lab is a research-oriented laboratory focused on the research topics of RF/microwave engineering, antenna technology and applied electromagnetic wave, specially

1) RF/Microwave circuits: filters, couplers, phase shifters, impedance transformers, dividers/combiners and interconnector/transition for wide-/multi-band wireless communication systems.

2) Planar/Nonplanar  Antennas: resonator-inspired patch, slot and dipole antennas with wide operating band and linearly-/circular-polarization; traveling-/leaky-wave antennas with beam-scanning functionality.

3) Applied Electromagnetic Wave: Guided-wave propagation in periodic structures or media such as electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) and metamaterials; numerical methods in electromagnetics, e.g., method of moments and de-embedding technique.
