Research Interests

Dr. Chao’s research interests and activities focus on natural language processing (NLP), which is an interdisciplinary field that uses cutting edge methods in machine learning and other computational intelligence approaches, where machine translation is the major target. At the meantime, machine learning is another main topic of interest, processing in particular huge amount of data in medical and language domains.
