Welcome to the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Macau Website!
The past twenty years have presented great challenges and opportunities in the development of the University of Macao. Great credit and recognition goes to not only the administration, but also our distinguished faculty for the many accomplishments of the past and in today's dynamic changing environment.
With the support and collaboration of many leaders of our society and of the nation, we have been intensively engaging in the mission of building a world-class university. In doing so, we will strengthen our goal and mission to fulfill the great expectations by building an elite undergraduate program and a research-focused graduate program.
We have been conducting undergraduate curriculum reform in both general education and major technical electives recently. With this new curriculum, we are reaching forward toward to one of our missions -- seeking outcome-based international accreditation. Our education goal is not only to match the needs of the region through our industrial partnership networks but also to connect with global development through academic exchange programs. Under elite program, our students will be very competitive in the global market as very effective leaders.
We will continue to recruit first-rate faculty members and qualified graduate students. Meanwhile, with the support of faculty, we will strengthen undergraduate research by utilizing state-of-art equipment and laboratories.
